This fall, the second graders are working with Promising Pages to get books in the hands of children.
Promising Pages is a nonprofit organization that collects donated books and distributes them to children with few, if any, books at home.
2nd grade will be collecting new and gently used books November 4th -15th. Collection boxes are in the second-grade hallway and foyer.
All books are going to help families build home libraries.
